Here’s another Turkish chocolate bar from my friend Alper C., and this is my first dark chocolate one!
This was a square block of very dark chocolate, almost black, scored into sixteen smaller squares. It had a great snap when I broke it apart, and it tasted good too…but oddly not as rich as I would expect from a 70% cacao bar. Don’t get me wrong, it was good dark chocolate. It just didn’t have any singular notes of any kind. It reminded me of Godiva chocolate, actually. A good solid dark chocolate.
