My co-worker Charlie S. brought by this chocolate bar to share.
This bar was fantastic! And I am saying that after eating some seriously good chocolate recently. The bar itself was very dark, almost black, and it was so rich and chocolatey that it was like eating fudge. And there was an interesting powdery finish, as if the chocolate transformed from a smooth creamy melted chocolate into a sweet cocoa powder. It was delicious!
And the best thing is that Charlie found it at a nearby Whole Foods, and he said there was a lot more! And it is made locally, at a place in Laguna Niguel. That’s not as close as ChocXO, but it is still pretty darned close!
